Press Release Body: The 2008 Afrocentric Book Expo is the third event sponsored as a joint effort with Karibu and The Black Writers\' Guild, MD in the Mall of Prince George\'s center court. It will showcase African-American literary talent throughout the day, with author book signings and free workshops and entertainment. The growth in black literature has not been a natural progression but is the result of a long and arduous struggle by Africans and their descendants to reclaim their culture from the impeding forces of racism.
